Thrive Creative Conference & March Wrap Up

Whoa…March was a bit cray! I continued Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Pod (I’m at over 100 hours now!) and finished up Beautiful You Life Coaching, WOW! Plus in true ‘Giddy Quitter’ fashion I said a sad farewell to my Houston Ladies Tennis Association league team, volunteering at Yoga Pod and HALF of my weekly fitness classes to make more room for new one on one life training and life coaching clients.

Honestly, all of this change came to fruition because of the Thrive Creative Conference I attended on February. I’d already quit my full time job, was living the dream as a freelance personal trainer for the last couple years and now am offering life coaching and nutrition consulting. But Thrive helped me take my website from a cute happiness blog to a true transformation destination and small business.

Hearing Emma Chapman of A Beautiful Mess and Natalie Franke of The Rising Tide talk about how serious we must be about our business and not just see it as a creative endeavor lit a fire under my firm booty to get out and there and just do it. Dominique Broadway and Christina Scalera made me get out of my cutesy creative funk and realize that I need to get legally bound and financially sound!

Yea, Thrive was a blast! I hope you’ve enjoyed the changes at Guaranteed Giddy, it is all to help women rediscover their confidence and zest for life-from the inside out!

Making more time for Guaranteed Giddy is already paying off, new clients mean more women full of positive energy and I was even asked to be a Studio Ambassador for Yoga Pod The Woodlands! But more on that next week!

Why I Created My Own SUPERHERO!

Another great thing about Thrive was getting to spend time with my new sister-in-law, Kylie. I don’t know her that well personally though I know she is forever talented as a singer, hand letterer and graphic artist. It was great to see her in action with other creatives at the conference. I hope we can collaborate on a project sometime soon!
