This giddy gal turns thirty on August nineteenth and this very blog was launched a year ago on August thirty first. Needless to say I knew a party was in order this month.
While I absolutely adore entertaining, I still get a little pit in my heart that screams ‘Is anyone going to come to my party?!!?!’. It’s human nature, right? I had that feeling last week, but much to my delight there was a quite a turn out for the giddy shindig! Either way, I totally sang ‘I have friends, I definitely have friends’ like Rebecca Bunch on Crazy Ex Girlfriend, video below.
Everyone loves a party, a group of people brought together for similar reasons—to get out of the house, maybe to meet someone new, or to celebrate something good in the world. There definitely was giddiness in the already good vibin’ Wild Spirit Yoga studio where we held the party last weekend. I knew Wild Spirit would be the perfect place to celebrate because there is so much love bottled up in the space naturally!
I’m so thankful to everyone who came to share in the giddiness of my thirtieth birthday! I’m still riding high on the good party vibes. I had family, old friends, new pals, co workers, personal training clients, fellow bloggers and even a few cute nieces and nephews in attendance. I love sharing good times with others, and that’s exactly what happened last weekend. Guaranteed Giddy is almost one year old, many things have changed since I started just a year ago but I know I’m going in the right direction. New developments with my life coaching training and fitness e-book offerings are in the works. I love change and can’t wait to offer that possibility to others.
